Welcome to The INJURY Consultant! I’m Roscoe, a scientist with a BSc And BSc Honours degree. I host The MUSCLE GROWTH Podcast, where I explore the intersection of science and fitness.
As an athlete, I’ve played top-level tennis, squash, and racketlon and am now an avid gym enthusiast. Throughout my athletic journey, I’ve faced multiple injuries, some of which were quite serious. Frustrated by the poor advice and outdated strategies from health professionals, I took matters into my own hands. My experiences with ineffective methods like RICE led me to research, experiment, and discover what truly works for injury recovery.
Today, I apply these insights to help others recover faster and smarter, but my work doesn’t stop there. My expertise extends to designing science-based strategies for fat loss, muscle gain, and promoting longevity—empowering clients to achieve optimal health and performance at any stage of life. I suffered a severe tricep tear, which significantly impacted my daily life and training routine. Initially, my doctor suggested I could heal it conventionally without surgery, based on the report of my ultrasound. However, Roscoe advised me to get a second opinion and request the ultrasound images. After further examination and an MRI, it was confirmed that I had torn my posterior tricep tendon off and needed surgery.
Post-surgery, Roscoe introduced me to peptide therapy. Within the first week, I noticed huge improvements: increased range of movement, reduced swelling, a slight strength increase, and I went from not being able to put my socks on to being able to do so, along with many other daily activities.

Roscoe is incredibly knowledgeable when it comes to exercise and injuries. I had struggled with my ITB for years before meeting Roscoe. He recommended ways to improve my ITB and I have gone from not being able to squat at all to squatting 70kg. He also helped me improve my ankle stability after injuring both my ankles multiple times and also assisted me in general with my gym and physique goals (all my PRs have drastically improved and I feel so much stronger).
